Director of Sales

Process Control Solutions, LLC located in St. Louis MO has an immediate opening for a “Director of Sales – Flow Control Products and Services” to join our team.

The Director of Sales will be responsible for growing revenue in our Flow Control division specifically focused on valves, actuation devices and industrial instrumentation. This will be accomplished by supporting and mentoring the field sales organization to facilitate sales and by directly pursuing and managing key accounts & opportunities. This individual should be entrepreneurial minded, a proven sales leader, technically competent and experienced in working with industrial customers.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing Flow Control customers.
  • Identify and engage new customer opportunities either directly or by supporting sales team.
  • Provide technical and application support.
  • Direct responsibility for “key” accounts and opportunities.
  • Track results and trends for business forecasting and to identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies.
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients.
  • Execution of daily activities through the entire sales cycle.
  • Generate leads and sales through prospecting, in-person visits and online marketing programs.

Preferred Skills & Education:

  • Knowledge of flow control products including valves, actuation devices and instrumentation.
  • Experience with Missouri and/or Illinois geography.
  • 5+ years of proven distribution, process and/or industrial sales experience.
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Strong organizational/time management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent communication/people skills.
  • Light overnight planned travel as needed.
  • Degree in Sales, Marketing or Engineering.
